CASE HISTORY: Ecoventura, Galapagos

 

CHALLENGE: To develop an interactive multimedia campaign  targeted to tourist agencies worldwide promoting tours of the Galapagos Islands. This complicated production required scripting, aerial and underwater videography, interviewing tourists, and shooting animals in their natural environment. Post-production included editing, animation, scoring, output to tape and the creation of a highly interactive CD.

MEDIA SOLUTION: We took Ecoventura's  project from concept to completion, creating a ""Reality Based" script following two couples on an adventure to over  seven different islands. We created a video that interspersed their reactions and personal experiences with the ecological and geological wonders of Galapagos. Then we took this entertaining and informative television production and made it interactive by combining video clips, still photographs, maps, and text with links to the internet. The result was a unique interactive multimedia experience that not only followed the explorations of our on screen talent but allows the viewer to chart his own course of exploration through the islands.
